#VOD: John 3:18

“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.”

We see it in the bible, but we don’t see it in the church…

There have been a few times I have came across pieces of scripture like this that challenge my view on life in the best of ways. My heart breaks for all of those who walk in the bondage of sin that seems to have no way out…

Think about it. They are wrapped up in the sin that strangles a majority of us, but yet they don’t have the option for forgiveness because the ones that should point them towards Christ judge them because they don’t hide the sin…

I wonder if you caught that… You see, most people that get judged for their sin in this world is because they haven’t developed the disease of church-in it… What I mean by church-in it is the false reality a lot of church members live in. Putting on the church clothes, the smiles, the makeup, becoming a pro at “I’m blessed” or “Things are great” when in reality their marriage is falling apart… Or their kids are acting out… They are depressed, burdened, or condemning themselves…

You see, there should be no judgment against all who believe, but even more so there should be NO judgment against those who do not know the grace, love & truth of the Gospel. We are told to hate the sin, but not the sinner. We can’t hate the very thing Jesus died for…

We need a transformation within the Church. We need people to love on those who are lost and trapped in sin, but even more so we need to learn that it is okay to not be okay…
