Romans 10:14 ESV
The author of this passage is Paul and no one would be able to doubt his heart and urgency for spreading the Gospel message. His entire life was devoted to teaching people about who Jesus is and what He wants to do for them. Paul had an encounter with Jesus that changed his life and he wanted everyone else to experience the same amazing grace he received…
Pause for a moment, and ask yourself if you have the same desire to make God’s name known and to tell everyone you can about Jesus? Sadly, many of us do not even understand that the main reason God loves us is to bring Himself glory through the act of loving the unloveable.
God desires us all to know who He is and to tell the world about Him. We cannot merely go through our days not talking to people about Jesus! To be honest, many of us don’t invite people to church, let alone tell them about Jesus and what He has done. Trust me, I know that it can be hard and awkward BUT it quickly fades into pure joy!
Paul is asking a rhetorical question here and it hit home for me this morning… How can I expect my friends, family, and co-workers to believe if there is no one to tell them? How are they to believe in Jesus if they never even heard of Him and I’m not talking about merely His name! No no no… I am talking about someone telling them about who Jesus is and what He has done for them.
Most people do know the name of Jesus, but a majority of those people do not even know WHO He is and what He has done. We live in a culture that is saturated with Jesus’ name, but it is dry and empty of the power in His name.

Everyone we come in contact with is a person we can share the gospel with. The waiter, waitress, cashier, person in line next to us at the store, etc. The list can go on and on. I mean EVERYONE, but how often do we not take advantage of that to share the gospel or even simply hand out a gospel tract? Thank you for sharing. Keep on blogging for God!
